TOWN MANAGER 

The Town of Fenwick Island, DE is seeking qualified candidates for the position of TOWN MANAGER. Fenwick Island is a beach town located in Southeastern Sussex County, Delaware. There are 375 full time residents and approximately 5000 residents during the summer.

 The Town Manager will report to Town Council and will be responsible for the management/supervision of 15 employees, as well as all Town operations. The ideal candidate must have excellent verbal, written, personnel management and organizational skills. Knowledge of and experience in municipal governmental operations and management is a definite plus, as well as experience in applying for and administering government grants. Bachelor’s degree in Public  Administration or related field is strongly desired.

 The applicant must be willing to relocate within 40 miles of the Town of Fenwick Island. Salary dependent on experience and education. Pension and excellent benefit package is available. Relocation package is a possibility.
